Traditional astrology teaches us to avoid engaging with the Lords and occupants of our most challenging houses. Otherwise, we may unintentionally invite more of those themes into our lives.

So what happens when the benefics, Venus and Jupiter, rule your dark houses or when your luminaries, Sun and Moon, are occulted?

Much of ancient astrology has been examined through a solar academic lens, influenced by those taught to fear the dark and its many mysteries. This anxiety surrounding occulted houses and placements prevents us from fully appreciating the benefits available outside of traditional binary narratives. By approaching astrology from an embodied and intuitive perspective, we can better understand its richness and invitations.

Some of us have dared to f*ck around and find out about the hand we’ve been given, and we found joy and love in these dark places and created a more empowering narrative instead.

Join Erin (Pisces Rising, Libra Sun, Libra Moon, and Libra Mercury) for Devotion in the Dark, an online exploration experience in which she will guide you through the unseen invitations offered by the dark houses: House of Resources (2nd), House of Practical Magick (6th), House of the Alchemist (8th), and House of the Mystic (12th).

This experience is designed for those at an advanced beginner level. To make the most of this opportunity, you will need a basic understanding of astrology (the planets, points, houses, and signs) and familiarity with your natal chart in Whole Sign Houses.

The class is held via Zoom and lasts 120 minutes, including a 15-minute break. Within 48 hours of the workshop, you will receive an email containing the recording and materials.
